Amarna

Amarna commonly known as el-Ainarna or incorrectly as Tel el-Amarna; is an extensive Egyptian archaeological site that represents the remaiqs of the capital city newly—established and built by the Pharaoh Akhenaten of the late Eighteenth Dynasty (c. 1353 BC), and abandoned shortly afterwards. The area is located on the east bank of the Nile River in the modern province of Minya.

Beni Hasan

The Beni Hasan cemetery of thirty-nine monumental tombs represents the final resting place for a couple of centuries of Middle Kingdom Egyptian provincial officials. Tomb Three is the final resting place of Khnum-Hotep Ill. The horizontallycut monumental tomb included an open outer court, twocolumn portico and doorway, main chamber with two rows of inner columns and a smaller shrine room—all cut into and from the solid rock.
